Application of Topological Technology to Construction of a Perturbation System for a Strongly Nonlinear Equation

چکیده
The homotopy perturbation method proposed by the present author is further improved in this paper, which is proved to be effective and convenient to solving nonlinear equations. Introduction There exist many difficulties encountered in the application of the traditional perturbation techniques to solving strongly nonlinear equations. Of these, one of the most frustrating is the fact that even a simple practical system may not posses the so-called “small parameter”, which is the theoretical base of the perturbation methods. The determination of a small parameter in an equation seems to be a special art requiring special techniques. An appropriate choice of a small parameter leads to an ideal result, however, an unsuitable choice of a small parameter results in badly effects, sometimes seriously. Furthermore, even if there exists a suitable small parameter, the approximate solutions solved by the perturbation methods are valid, in most cases, only for the small values of the parameter. To overcome the shortcomings of the perturbation techniques, we will apply homotopy in topological technique to construct a perturbation system. Construction of strict Lyapunov function for nonlinear parameterised perturbed systems
In this paper, global uniform exponential stability of perturbed dynamical systems is studied by using Lyapunov techniques. The system presents a perturbation term which is bounded by an integrable function with the assumption that the nominal system is globally uniformly exponentially stable. Some examples in dimensional two are given to illustrate the applicability of the main results.
متن کاملDetermination of Periodic Solution for Tapered Beams with Modified Iteration Perturbation Method
In this paper, we implemented the Modified Iteration Perturbation Method (MIPM) for approximating the periodic behavior of a tapered beam. This problem is formulated as a nonlinear ordinary differential equation with linear and nonlinear terms. The solution is quickly convergent and does not need complicated calculations. Comparing the results of the MIPM with the exact solution shows that this...

As an application of Hirota bilinear method, perturbation expansion truncated at different levels is used to obtain exact soliton solutions to (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation in much simpler way in comparison to other existing methods. We have derived bilinear form of nonlinear evolution equation and using this bilinear form, bilinear Backlund transformations and construction of ...

Analyzing the nonlinear vibration of beams is one of the important issues in structural engineering. According to this, an impressive analytical method which is called Modified Iteration Perturbation Method (MIPM) is used to obtain the behavior and frequency of a cantilever beam with geometric nonlinear. This new method is combined by the Mickens and Iteration methods. Moreover, this method don...
متن کاملA Solution of Riccati Nonlinear Differential Equation using Enhanced Homotopy Perturbation Method (EHPM)
Homotopy Perturbation Method is an effective method to find a solution of a nonlinear differential equation, subjected to a set of boundary condition. In this method a nonlinear and complex differential equation is transformed to series of linear and nonlinear and almost simpler differential equations. These set of equations are then solved secularly. Finally a linear combination of the solutio...
